Alcohol and other substances manipulate the way your brain operates. Frequent and long term alcohol or drug use can lower your mood, increase your emotional state, and have a major effect on your sports performance as well.

Counseling and Wellness Services offers free, non-judgmental, and confidential assistance to NYU students who have concerns related to their use of alcohol or other drugs through a range of services, including the The SAFE Program (Substance Assessment, Feedback and Evaluation).
